Membership
Membership to our society is open to anyone aged 18 and above and we are looking forward to welcoming you among us.
We are always seeking new members to perform on stage, be part of the production team or help with the administration including sponsorship, sales and marketing. If you want to discuss how you can get involved please contact our Secretary, Lee via wbossecretary [@] gmail [.] com .
Auditions
We typically hold auditions in June/July for our February shows and in February for our June concerts.
Rehearsal schedule
Chorus rehearsals begin on the first Wednesday in September and will continue weekly on Wednesday evenings, 7:30pm-9:30pm, until the show. (Room 5, West Bridgford Methodist Church Hall, Patrick Road, West Bridgford)
Principal rehearsals begin on the first Monday in September, and will continue weekly as required on Monday evenings, 7:30pm-9:30pm, until the show (Room 5, West Bridgford Methodist Church Hall, Patrick Road, West Bridgford)
There may also be a few Sunday afternoon rehearsals in January and/or February. This will at the discretion of the Director and MD and advised at a later date.
We are a friendly society consisting of adults of all ages. We welcome new members both on stage and back stage to help with stage management, set design, set building, props, costumes and more. We also welcome any help with programme design, printing, marketing, publicity, ticket sales and front of house.
We usually go for drinks and a chat at The Test Match Pub after Wednesday rehearsals.
